Changes, everything changes

Dearest readers, did you already miss this author? I know, it’s been a while. This time I bring you what could be my last blog, I know gentle reader, this is a sad fact, but I will never forget you so let’s start with the music. “Sometimes it’s good to be able to change. Some pieces to progress. We are the same with different skin. The witch of the West returns. If you trusted me more. You would know that I do it for you. To continue, sometimes something has to change. And open the window and ventilate.” (El aplauso herido - Mägo de Oz) You may have noticed, dear reader, from the song that today’s topic is about changes, specifically about changes that could be made in my study program. In case you don’t remember, gentle reader, I am studying Biochemistry. If I could, I would make many changes to my study program, starting with eliminating classes at 8:30 am, JAJAJA it’s a joke, but if you want it’s not a joke. Well, speaking seriously, I would improve the schedules of some subjects th...

Don’t tamper with natural law

Dearest readers, did you already miss this author? Don’t worry, I will never forget you. Since I already know what they’re about, I won’t give it any more thought, and let’s start with the music. And let me warn you right now that there will be many songs in this post. “Time is a figment of my mind. And like my mind, time will disappear. And the sun that slips through my fingers. Is a time that passer through the years. Getting older is just in the mind. Still the same person that was, when I left my youth behind. And although my body aches when I wake. There’s still a lot to be lived, and I just can’t wait. ‘Cause the construct that is time is a figment of my mind. And like my mind, time will disappear.” (Time - Aidan Gallagher) I guess the song gave you a clue about today’s topic, and if you didn’t get it, gentle reader, let me tell you that you are losing your touch. Well, today’s topic is: Time to travel to the past or future. Before saying whether I prefer to travel to the past or...

I want to be...

Dearest readers, it is my honor to share with you this third installment of my blog, which this time is about my dream job. I do hope you have stored the best liqueurs for this wonderful occasion. As you will know very well, gentle reader, before we begin with today's topic, let's go with the music. (I was inspired by the writing of Lady Whistledown, the anonymous popular writer who details the gossip of the high society of Bridgerton) “After so long I’m still here. Something older from so much living. I’ve learned the lesson the hard way. That in my failure only I rule. Ever since I was little I always wanted to be. The bad of the stories and losing. The fear of being myself for wanting. Be metalhead. And I swear to you that I haven’t stopped fighting. To be able to sing” (El aplauso herido - Mägo de Oz)  My dream job. I think I mentioned something about this in my previous blog when I wrote “Twelve years, one decision”. If you haven’t read it, dear reader, I must tell you tha...

To boarding: The pirate life is the best life

Hello my loyal readers. Today is a new blog day, and before we leave with today's topic, as always, we start with a song. “We are legion, we are passion. We are your dreams made of song. We are your voice and the heart. It only beats us if you want it. Two tibias and a skull. They draw the waves of the sea. I have death as my flag. And a guitar to fight.” (Al Abordaje - Mägo de Oz) And without further details, today's topic is the best concert ever. It was very difficult for me to decide which concert to choose as I have gone to several music festivals, some of them are "Rapa Makewe", "Womad" and "Festival Arte y Memoria Victor Jara". As they were festivals, I liked many of the bands, if not all, that were presented. My favorite singer and band, Luanko and Puel Kona, performed for several years at the "Rapa Makewe" festival, so choosing one of the two or one of their performances was impossible. That's why today I'm going to tell ...

Flying with dragons over a bamboo forest

Hello again, my dear and faithful readers, we meet once again to talk about things that probably no one is interested in. As usual in this blog, we start with music.“It's time to step out of consciousness, To be air in the disaster mundane, Let the dragons fly again, To burn the historical indecency” (Que salgan los dragones - Chinoy) I don't know but the topic I'm going to talk about reminded me of this verse from the song, so without further details, today's blog is about the country I would like to visit. One of my dreams is to visit China. I have wanted to know this country since I was 8 or 9 years old. China is the world's most populous country and the second economic power in the world, with vast landscapes spanning prairies, deserts, mountains, lakes, rivers, and coasts. Also, it's the place where many kung fu movies happen, which in case I didn't tell you about it on my first blog “This is me”, is my favorite martial art, and I practiced it for 8 yea...

Act.1: The best place I've ever stayed

The best place I’ve ever stayed is camping La Puntilla in Pucon. I went to this place with my university friends, Clau, Kim, and Fefi, in the summer. It’s a very beautiful place with a river passing by with crystal clear and turquoise water. It has a kind of dock where people can fish or get into the river. With Clau and Fefi, we got into the river, though, which was maybe a mistake because the water was so cold. This camping was very magical. It was surrounded by many trees and had a view of the Villarrica volcano. Being there was a unique experience.
